Wholesale Power Purchase and Sales:
Stata Power invests and leverages on identified opportunities by playing the role of an Electricity Trader. The Company compliments identified gaps in the market by providing specialist expertise in buying and selling power to match the supply and demand for which individual generators or off-takers might not meet capacity, resources, or visibility.
As a Wholesale Trader, STATA POWER will take on a combination of these roles:
- Enter into Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with generations companies and Independent Power Producers (IPP’s)
- Enter into tolling with IPP’s and in parallel enter into a Fuel Supply Agreement with fuel suppliers, gas producers, coal suppliers
- Enter into Power Sales Agreement (PSAs) with distribution companies, utilities and large consumers for resell of power purchased from IPP’s. As a load aggregator PSA’s could be with Multi- party -off -takers
- Enter into Transmission Agreement for transmission of power
The Company is better positioned to enter into credit enhancement arrangements with Developmental Financial Institutions (DFI’s), Commercial Banks and Insurance

Gas Generator Sales and Lease
Stata’s Generator Sales and Leasing Services are engineered to meet your diverse power requirements with efficiency and precision. STATA’s strategic partnership with CCETC has deployed over 100 units of 1x1000kv gas-generating sets currently operating in Nigeria. In collaboration with CCETC, we intend to deploy our gas generators on Lease-to-Own basis which is expected to enhance gas utilization capacity in Nigeria, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and significantly reduce the cost of production for manufacturers.
